Dreamers always want
A better view of the moon
My grandmother would like her tea
With a half more sugar spoon
A child cries for a new car toy
While the mother hopes for a distant day of joy
And of a husband that doesn´t act like a boy
Some girls desire to live
On a gothic palace tower
While others would kill
To receive a red flower
Most boys desire to grow into men
One night they´re grown
And in need of a new blade
For the next morning shave
The junkie always wants a better deal from his dealer
That wants better fumes and cheaper mules
A lead singer wants another trip
To ride the snake in a dune
Rock bands sell their souls
To release their most played tune
Every writer pursues more inspiration
To write another page full
And we all wish to sleep until noon
The bumb always needs an extra dime
Criminals one last crime
Whores another sweet ride
Someone please give them back their pride
Smokers at all times need a last drag
From their dying friend
The cigarrete
Alcoholics another round
Of that venom they have found
Some people seek more than one love
Many just want a piece of it
And hope not to lose its grip
Once they have reached the peak
Politicians want more power
Every day many priests pray
To have the most angelical choir
And not to burn in the hell´s fire
Militaries ask for more guns and ammunition
School children parents for lower mortgages and tuition
Lawyers at any cost always want the reason
Some of their clients must hunt one more victim
Because they desperately need to get back to prison
Spies will forever whisper
Extra secrecy...
College graduates will always scream
Civil rights and a job opportunity!
Repressed minorities will always suffer
For their equality
Actors and actresses keep hoping
For an award winning part
Some people always crave
Of one last slice
From that delicious chocolat tart
Warriors will never stop pursuing more glory
And old couples one last breath of their memory
To remember their neverending story
Before becoming ashes at the crematory
As for me
The only thing I want is a clear Sun´s peek
In between all this rain
That´s been pouring for weeks
In this planet of freaks
